On Friday 27th June, our school was truly blessed by taking part in the beautiful mass celebrating the Feast of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. In St Patrick’s Cathedral. The children were so respectful and prayerful, the choir sang beautifully and children who presented gifts or read prayers made everyone very proud. The new image of the Sacred Heart commissioned for this year of Ireland’s re- dedication to the Sacred Heart was displayed. Thank you Fr Barry and Mrs Mc Fadden who co- ordinated the celebration. Ms Farley was congratulated by Fr Barry for reaching this one year milestone as principal . He also wished Mrs McLaughlin happiness in her forthcoming retirement and thanked her for her service. We all enjoyed the wee bus ride there and back as well as Feast Day treats back at school . We were delighted Fr Emmanuel could join us for the traditional strawberries and cream 😍and ice lollies during an extended break . A wonderful day to end a successful school year.
