Maths is Mighty at Mount Saint Catherine's Primary School. Today marks the end of a wonderful display of activities in our school to celebrate Maths week. Children in all primary classes embraced Maths week with excitement and enthusiasm as they participated in a variety of interactive and hands on activities. This included working on Maths trails, using the outside learning environment to explore Measures, Shape and Space and participating in a Maths quiz. Furthermore we were delighted to welcome our Maths is Mighty (MIM)Mentors to our school. Year 13 students from St Catherine’s College are starting a mentoring program with our primary children. This program aims to help children develop their mathematical skills, knowledge and confidence with the support of mentors. All in all we've had a wonderful Maths Week!
