Shared Education 🧑🎨🎨
27th Feb 2026
The children had a fantastic final session with the artist, Sinead Mc Dermott, on Monday as part of their shared education programme with Armstrong P.S.
Together, they transformed the assembly hall into a vibrant creative studio, building friendships while producing magnificent masterpieces that stretched the full length of the hall. Using plain wallpaper taped across the floor as their canvas, they explored crayons, oil pastels and paint with enthusiasm and imagination. The freedom to create as much — or as little — as they wished encouraged confidence, collaboration and bold use of colour. The finished artwork was a spectacular celebration not only of their creativity, but of the strong connections formed through working together.
