The Professor arrived with his science kit and a big smile, ready to turn our classroom into a mini laboratory. The children had great fun becoming little scientists and helping with two amazing experiments.
First, we tried the Skittle Experiment. We placed colourful skittles around a plate and carefully added warm water. Slowly, the colours began to spread and swirl, creating a beautiful rainbow pattern. The children loved watching the colours move and mix — it looked like magic!
Next, we made Dancing Raisins. We dropped raisins into a fizzy drink and watched what happened. The bubbles stuck to the raisins and lifted them up to the top of the glass. Then the bubbles popped and the raisins sank back down again — making them look like they were dancing! The children thought this was very funny and couldn’t stop giggling as the raisins bounced up and down.
Professor McWizzern was very impressed with how curious and enthusiastic our young scientists were. It was a wonderful morning full of questions, discoveries, and lots of smiles.
