World Maths Day was a vibrant celebration of curiosity, creativity, and collaboration across our school! Children immersed themselves in a wide range of multi-sensory activities, from hands-on problem solving in the classroom to exciting outdoor learning challenges that brought maths to life beyond the four walls.
Pupils worked together brilliantly, demonstrating fantastic teamwork as they explored concepts through games, investigations, and practical tasks. Using engaging resources such as Mathletics and IZAK 9, children developed their skills in fun and imaginative ways, building confidence while deepening their understanding.
Laughter and enthusiasm filled the day as children enjoyed playing maths games together, proving that learning really can be joyful. To top it all off, there was a delightful surprise from MIM (Maths Is Mighty) the Mouse, who left special prizes for best dressed and invitations for a magical tea party she will be hosting next week—sparking excitement and wonder throughout the school.
